Sew Be/ April and Otto Quilt pattern
The April and Otto quilt design is an expression of love for one of Bec’s children. It is a mix of one simple, beautiful block and one more beautiful, nuanced block.
The design uses machine piecing and needle turn applique. Two needle turn applique designs are included in the pattern. One uses a floral element creating a vintage feel, whilst the second design is more modern depending on your fabric and colour choices.
Finished quilt is 64” square.
As a guide we suggest about 5 yards/ 4.5m of fabric comprised of fat quarters (especially low volume fabrics) fat eighths and fat sixteenths, with additions from your scraps, for your quilt top.
